Very Nice small hotel. Very clean. Excellent location. Right next to Vondel Park and within walking distance from many attractions, yet quiet. Breakfast was Excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a triple room which was tiny. It felt like the beds filled the room and there was hardly any room for our bags. We had to put them on the floor which means there was hardly any room to walk.

An ideal location. Walking distance to restaurants, museums, boutique shopping and public transportation. Right next to the park. Very friendly staff. When I checked in the staff was willing and friendly in letting me switch to a different room. Overall loved staying at the hotel. If in future I ever visit Amsterdam will definitely stay at The Hotel Piet Hien!!
No coffee machine in room. Rooms are considerably smaller in Europe. Though was a very nice compact room with big windows and nice view of the hotel terrace. The Queen beds in Europe are actually two beds pushed together, just an FYI...

The location was great, in a quiet area yet walking distance to everything. The room was tastefully decorated, very bright, clean and with nice furniture.
Before arriving I contacting the reception and was offered a double room overlooking the park, but when we got there we had a view over a wall and a kitchen.
How to book
Making your reservation in Hotel Piet Hein is easy and secure. Simply select your dates of stay and click on the “Check Rates” button to submit the form.After room types and rates are returned to your screen, you will be able to choose the rate you desire by reading the room information in the center of the screen, then clicking on the "Book Now" button on the right side of the screen. After you have selected your desired room type, you will be taken to a "Complete your booking" form. Then you will need to review the "Details of your stay" and fill in the blanks on the "Guest Details" section. Be sure your name and email address are spelled correctly.
After you fill out all of the needed information, press the "Complete reservation" button. To ensure your security, we use a secure commerce server, which encrypts the credit card number and encodes it into a non-usable form.
